Some Walk In The Rain...
21 April, 2017
Author: LAR
some walk in the rain....
others just get wet.
Some there are who wish upon a star....
I enjoy the tempo of the drums of nature
in a good storm,
the cymbals of flashing lightning,
the violins pouring out their raindrops
with the basses pouring the flooded pools
with the voices of the choirs falling and rolling across the hillsides....
This is the weather when I would wrap my arms around you
and hold you close,
closer,
as close as I possibly could
until we could feel each other's heartbeats,
and I would look into your eyes
and nearly cry at the beauty I would see there...
and I would,
softly
and slowly
and tenderly
kiss you,
my lips trembling
at the taste of heaven on my lips
and at the amazing beauty
of holding an angel in my arms.
Would that not be a wonderful way
to celebrate the symphony of the storm?
