Cryin'
28 January, 2001
Author: Erin
I can watch you walk away,
and feel myself begin to cry,
silently I pray up to God,
don't make this good-bye.
Give me the courage to live my life,
and move on without you,
to keep all the little things inside,
those things I wish you knew.
Give me hope to look beyond,
the sadness of today,
and to smile no matter what,
inspite of what others say.
Give me strength to be myself,
and live my life alone,
at least for now thats case,
I'm out on my own.
Give me love to fall back on,
or hand off to someone new,
to have the love to say good-bye,
and bid my love adieu.
And as I saw you walk away,
the tears fell from my eyes,
I wiped them off in a rage,
Why cry over guys?
