Whether it was spring or fall.
An inner city kid named Clay.
Loved to wear his overalls.
Some of the kids called him country boy.

But wearing those overalls brought him a lot of joy.
He loved to wear them so much.
He could be seen wearing them when playing ball.
And even when he went to church.
