I sure hate it when this happens.
And today it seems to be happening
all day long.
I start out with some good thoughts,
a decent writing mood,
all hunkered down in my mind and mood...
I get just so far
(AND, I'm actually RHYMING!)...
and BLAM!! —
right into the damn writer's block wall.
Again.
Got two or three half-good ones
on the shelf today
and not sure when I'll pick 'em up again.
But they're gonna be worth it,
one day.
Yeah, sure —
that's what I always say.
