Take Part In It
23 October, 2017
Author: Shiloh
Life is run in too much of a hurry.
People seem to think they must do this or that NOW,
and not even think of anything but the end result,
which, by virtue of being that moment,
is over in a moment,
and rests only in their mind
for a fleeting bit of time.
How much better would it be, do you think,
if you were to back it down a bit,
enjoy the journey to wherever you wish to go,
and see life as you pass through it,
along the roads and paths and across the fields...
enjoying the views, the sunshine, even the storms...
taking part in your life,
rather than being on the sidelines
and only seeing it as something to be overcome.
