looking at the starry sky
smelling the ocean filled waves
walking across that sandy beach
hoping this day won't end
thinking of you deep within my thoughts
hoping your not just a dream
while holding you tightly within my grasp
watching the sun set in this scene
afraid of what might happen next
you hold me in your arms
and look deeply into my eyes
with all your loving charm
inch by inch breath by breath
I feel your soft lips againts mine
realizing that this is reality
and not just a dream of mine
so as you hold me in your arms
and kiss me with loves embrace
i can now see what true love is
and that it is worth the wait.
