Something Amiss
30 November, 2017
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
I can feel it
There is crying in the air
I can feel it
Chills run thru my bones
as if it has happened
But it hasn't yet
but it will
I can feel it
Filled with anger
fear, anxious the hours count down
death awaits
The inevitable feeling of completion in wait
silent, contemplation, of life, loss, sickened valor, heroism
I cannot quite grasp onto what it is
where it is or what it is.
But it has the potential of being worse
than any before.
The chills, the screams, the fear,
the shock of the people
As they watch the horror unfold
disbelief that life has changed
Why do I feel this...
Why do I have to feel this...
