Paradise On Earth
14 January, 2018
Author: Meridian Zuriel
Tall trees towering
You could hear a pen drop
The only noise is that of the river
It's natural bliss nonstop
Paradise on Earth, a slice of heaven
Eternal peace in slow mo
Esp. when you're living solo
Here, time stands still
No such thing as 60 minutes to an hour
Time doesn't seem to exist
In a world designed by love and power
Demand and stress free
Doctors/Pharmacists would be
One patient/customer less
Prescription pills would be considered excess
Who needs 'em in a world
No man can explain or describe
Meditation and yoga is pointless too
I'm boundaries beyond a world I once knew
This secret Haven provides its own therapy session
Cost free, effective mind massaging "lessons"
From chirping birds every blue moon
To sleep-induced rare monsoons
Record player on repeat
Tracks downloaded from Itunes
Dancin' comes automatic
Since almost everyday's like June
Forever smiling
Heart rate slow and steady
Dreams are reality
No pressure of human fallacy
The mind is at rest
On a moist quilt of happiness
Made by Jesus, the Creator
There's no manufacturer greater
Green grass, soil and marsh
Waterfalls near that ageless house of stone
Like in those oil paintings decorating house walls
Deep, southern country - who needs shopping malls
No wonder I love it here
There's hardly any laws
If there is an effect
No one around to know the cause
Like a retiree
Who's worked long and hard to earn
What a young prospective
Would already yearn
Enjoying the atmosphere and sunshine
Metaphors are unheard of
In a land literally divine
Here, things are what they seem
Nice, calm and serene
Reality is such a dream
That my eyes doubt the scene
But it's tangible and it's true
It's happening in living color
A feeling long overdue
A discovery like no other
