Inspiration
5 February, 2018
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
From inspiration and it's many form
Comedic laughter, Poets song
A warrior spirit,
A heart forlorn
A thought set free from self made boundaries
To think outside the "normal" box
To see things in a different light
From a darkness of shadows where others see only night
An inspiration as an infinite form
To be whatever, shape-shifted, adorned
It can become anything
Or without desire, become nothing at all.
Inspiration a trigger for a well rested mind
Will set in motion big wheels turning amusing line after line
Inventions come forth,
and voices are heard
Thoughts provoked, Words rewrote
Twisting from shadows full formed
One thought brings on another without thinking
Inspiration was it's only beginning

Dreamer (107.133.200.6) -- Saturday, February 10 2018, 09:17 pm yes they do... This poem was written from a comment I left on someone's poetry that I had told it was inspiring to me. And he didn't see his writing as inspiring.. So I wrote this not only because he 'inspired' me but to let him know there are many ways something can inspire.. |
