The Morning Was Gone
8 March, 2018
Author: Mental
I thought I woke up
this morning
but the morning was gone.
along with your face
along with your fire
no way I could replace
your moving desire.
the moon was ripe
swollen with pale light
it could not keep it all in
as it fullfilled the night.
then i thought i
woke up in the morning
but the morning was gone.
