In Front Of Me

Author: Meridian Zuriel
Blessings and grace
All around me
What can diamonds
Really do for me
Bronze and platinum
They all fade away
God lasts forever
Riches do never
The Son shines brighter
Than glitter and glam
God is the King and the Prince
He's the Great I Am
Said flesh is always wanting
It's never really satisfied
The test has yet to be passed
When flesh is denied
I (I)
Could not see (see)
What (what)
Was in front of me
What I want
I already have
What I seek
I already wear
Watching the poor, I learn from
I'm always taught a lesson
's enough to be thankful for
Instead of always wantin' more
Not realizing the more
That I want
That is enough just isn't
So here we are, back in class
Having yet to score and pass
Until I no longer have to re-enroll
After having finished last
...and the buck abruptly stops here...
