Stories Of Young Love Old
22 March, 2018
Author: Mental
Frozen concrete
Beneath our feet
Under bleachers mazes
Where intersections meet.
Love can be built anywhere
Hearts that flutter
Hearts that tease
In the cold wind you shudder
Our warmth puts us as ease.
Dark cold blanket starts to unfold
Future memories are being created
And stories of young love old.
That certain girl , that certain night
The romantic teenage love
Brings out delight.
The darkened football stadium
The darkened sleepy house
Our kisses and awareness were loud
As we hushed like a mouse.
Every movement manifested
Into a deeper pose
Every noise we heard
We locked eyes and froze.
Then a tragic ending
And not between her and I.
