YA KNOW, BACK IN THE VERY EARLY SIXTIES....
I took nearly two years of bongo lessons.
Yes, I did.
You can work the heads loose or tight,
and you get your tones that way.
Just don't try to do it while in a gig -
it don't work.
— now just apply that thought to life....
