Drive-by
19 April, 2018
Author: Lamar Cole
It was a lovely southern California afternoon.
A drive-by ended his life too soon.
But that's the way it is sometimes in the hood.
Things ain't always the way they should.
He knew that to think such a thing was a sin.
But he wished that the bullet would have missed him.
And instead hit his best friend Ben.
