Emotional Puncture
24 May, 2018
Author: Mental
I have been hit
With an emotional puncture
My son has died
And in my life another major juncture.
I didn't know him
Now I wish I did
I avoided him most of his life
When he was just a kid.
Now I wish I told him
That it was all my fault
To tell him I love him
But time beat me and again got caught.
Another chance wasted
Another major milestone passed
He wanted to meet me and I should've chased it.
But he left us to fast.
I'm sure he touched everyone he knew
I'm sure their are hearts filled
With grief and sorrow
But we will be one day closer in seeing him again
As there will always be more tomorrows.
