Paint a picture so fine
Even the naked eye can't see
Then again just may be
That the spectator is blind willfully
It's called a game
That's been run since the beginning of time
It's darn easy to simply claim oblivion
Take the bait from the one controlling the wire
Hooked on a feeling from the words of a pro
Behold the flames before burning in the fire
Experiences often come full circle you know
They say hindsight's 20-20
Ain't it funny
That somewhere in the equation
Differences almost always involve money
Things are designed to entice
To distract from what will last
Advertisements always sell it
That's how they make money fast
It's designed to catch one's attention
Not to mention
To lose focus and if careless, willpower
Until the fruit is bitten into
The fresh fruit turned out to be really sour
A lesson for us all, ain't no one exempt
The struggle is real and so is the tempt-ation
I always go on vacation, use my imagination
Escape from reality and circumstances
That will always be
Because ain't nothing that good in the world
Worth more than what's really important to me
It ain't walking down the street
It ain't sold in a store
It's something I can't see
That's worth so much more
That ain't temporary but will last forever
Heaven and Earth will pass away
But God's Word will never
