A Country Song

I have a pick up truck
She may be rusted
She may be old
But She can be trusted.
As I'm going down the road
I've got the tailgate down
From the early morning rains
Humming an old tune
And in my head it refrains.
Got the cooler full of brew
Got the tank filled to the top
Picked up everybody i knew
As i was being chased by a county cop.
Got my two barrel shotgun
Fully loaded with shells
Going to have some fun
And raise a lot of hell.
Got the bonfire going
Nature nestled all around
Feeling brave and not so tense
Not feeling so down
Life never did make sense.

A person should..

A person should never underestimate a writer's talents.. Especially a poet. As for writing a country song .. lol.. Truck, dog, girl, tractor, guns, beer.. Pretty easy stuff for the likes of us. :) Even better making 20 bucks off the bet.

Not to mention a pretty good poem too
