Thoughts (rough Draft)

Abandoned, but livable
Bare, but beautiful
Dirty, but manageable
Better to be than not

Cloudy, but visible
the hills, the mountains
Drink from the fountain
Where there is a lot

Nothing's amiss, or out of place
Outdated doesn't mean disgrace
And yes, we all have our different tastes
But to see it for what it is
Without much expectation
Not being hard to please
Or setting the standard too high
to take in imperfection
And love without condition
Just satisfied and content to be
Without x, y and z

Was supposed to be
A metaphor
But you know me -
Changing direction like the wind and stuff
As thoughts come long time
Maybe I could think too much, but enough?
Which brings me to
A more spiritual, philosophical point of view

So much I see but still miss
Blessed to exist, praise the blessing and still dismiss
the Blesser who made it possible for me to choose
It's so easy to take advantage of free will, yet
Between whippings, God still
Deals with this deceitful, stubborn heart of mine
You know, prophet Jeremiah was right
thus each day and night -

God, I don't know what to pray for
But you know and so
It's more than houses, cars and land
Help me to put my life in Your hands
