A Dream Reawakened
28 November, 2018
Author: Shiloh
At one time I was studying a little bit,
at Gulf Coast Bible, in Houston,
but then I went into the Army.
I was going to go to Anderson, Indiana,
for four years after Vietnam,
and then look for a little town out west,
somewhere,
that wanted a green minister.
That never happened, though.
I think it had a lot to do with matching up
what I did, and what I saw,
to what I thought I knew,
so I just came home eventually,
and took a factory job on a swing shift.
I do know that God once dealt me a winning hand,
and I remember that, and how it felt…
and I remember that I folded.
Now I’m back at that same table once again….
Just me, the deck, and Life.
