in remembering the days long gone by,
I hope you have a smile,
as they were days worthy of smiles today.
We had those days for a brief moment,
but what beautiful memories that moment gave us.
We loved once,
and were loved.
That, in itself,
was a gift we did not understand at the time,
but now we treasure that small gift,
for the immense value it held for us.
