If nothing else
in life
happens
to change
anything
in any way
from its present state,
and either of us
should leave this world,
know that there has been,
and always will be,
a small place
in my heart
that will forever be
Brintnall Place,
for it was there
that I realized
your worth,
your value,
and that I learned
I was so honored,
then,
just to hold your hand.
