Bridges Never Burned
9 May, 2020
Author: LAR
I just scanned through a lot of it
there are a lot of serious and honest similarities
between real life.
and The Bridges Of Madison County.
I say this because of the fact of the story line
and the incidents therein
most definitely have the ragged edges of reality
and God, how I wish
that things had been different
than they were.
I sit here and see my hands on this keyboard
and think that they should be
holding your hands, instead.
I guess that is the price I pay
for loving you.
I live with it.
I will endure the ungodly discomfort of it,
and I will, hopefully,
one day understand all of it.
