When I look at her
I see myself
Is she real or
Is she just a reflection?
'Cuz when I look at her
I see myself
Her black hair, shows
Her pale skin
And her deep blue eyes
And dark red lips.
She stares right through me
Like I'm just a ghost
And just maybe
Maybe I am the one
That she can't see.
Flames flicker from her soul
Like a damsel in distress
They spit at me
Making jokes in my face
Is she evil
ITSELF
Or just one of its many disguises
>From up close
I can't stand to look at her
Even though she won't go away
What do I have to do
To be rid of that face?
Her eyes gaze on mine
And finally, I see
Her pain.
