Are You Being Here Now ?
8 September, 2020
Author: Pondering Red
you lounge about
and around your space,
your bountiful, luxurious, natural space
all you ever wanted
needed
worked for
or is it ?
snuggled in the valley of huge mountains,
lush grasses and apple orchards,
the mists from the monsoon rains greet you
a picture of tranquility
breathe in the serenity
of just being
of being with others of like mind
of being mindful in every single moment
of living in the here and now
the eternal now
of seeking bliss and
finding blissful moments
where do you hide your fears,
memories of the past ?
are they selective ?
are some buried in the deep corners of your mind ?
do you think of old friends and lovers,
ever ?
sometimes ?
never ?
a Shangri La setting,
is that possible ?
