On Fostering Cats
26 September, 2020
Author: Shiloh
fostering a cat or kittens....
I could not do that
and be successful,
as I would never be able to care for them that long,
and then give them away.
I just could not do that.
It would be too much like having a cat you raised,
then that cat dies....
to be a good foster parent
you have to help them find a forever home,
and you have to let them go.
Our animals die, and that is so sad,
and we don't like it....
but we have to let them go.
all of mine are still with me
in my memories,
in my rememories,
and in my heart.
I would never make a good foster parent -
mainly because I could not afford it,
as I would adopt each and every one —
to me, there is no such thing as too many cats.
(I would be the little old cat gentleman.)
