New Year
1 January, 2004
Author: Forgotton Sorrows
And so another year leaves and yet another comes.
One more year to grow older,
and just one more chance to grow wiser.
As the years pass the world by,
time gives us the knowledge of life.
Will we ever learn?
Time keeps giving, but do we take it?
Each generation will come and go,
and with hope in our soul we look to a new future.
As if you were staring into the sky
and asking the stars "Where did we go wrong?"
And the answer remains silent.
Does the future pass you by?
Or is now the time to change everything?
These questions ring out into our minds, bodies, and souls.
Your soul is ringing, aren't you going to pick up?
