To Be A Friend
11 February, 2021
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Trying to be a friend
Where a friend is needed
It wears, what is left of me out
With no regrets, I stand tall
Loving who I am, in a small way
Making life a better place
For who am I to judge
What another thinks is right
Feelings are ours alone to bare
Real, none the less
To each their own demons
Effecting the hearts and minds
To release them, for a moment
Relaxing the pains
Healing begins and thrives
So be a friend
Where a friend is needed
It can be wearing, But a worthy cause
