Spring Upon Us
22 April, 2021
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
In the spring it fell
winter upon the ground
covering the green
that spring finally found
At risk were all the flowers
that had finally come to bloom
for them the frosty nips
would signal a chilling doom
We brought all the hanging planters in
and covered the ones we could
knowing the winters last hoorah
would end now, finally as it should
Hopefully in the coming days
when spring comes once again
the blooming can continue
into the summer without end
