The Change Around Me

Back when I was growing up you could agree to disagree
You were safe from cancellation if you didn't agree with me
I never thought of myself as slanted but I took everything for granted
And I never gave a s*#t about the bulls*#t that I didn't even know was planted
Now I burn, for the things I can't learn, it'll never be our turn
Cuz the motherf*#@ers want to take away all the things that they can't earn
If it can't be theirs, it can never be yours
Take an introspective look and you will find that we're all wh*#@s

Now we jump and we bump and we skip to the sound, of the stupid motherf*#@ers that will put us in the ground
Now it's time to take a sec, take a step back, ponder how we all made it to the place that we found
Taking more than we have, it'll never be enough, they never seem to care that it's gonna get rough
You lost your job? Well that's tough, they said they'd help you out but it's a bluff

You might say we're misguided, this s*#t is always one sided
And we're divided, don't fight it - It is the life they decided
You do not get to decide, you don't get to have pride
They will take it away, even after you died
