Serene Afternoon
27 June, 2021
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Sitting alone in a crowd of strangers
Enjoying the music and surroundings
A glass of wine in my hand
Serene and contented I belong
Quietly melding with the feeling
Wind blowing through my hair
Forgetting for a while the troubles of the world
Realizing how much laughter has been missing
Filled with the comfort that it still remains
It's a day of blissful meaning
