New Tomorrows
29 July, 2021
author: Rebecca Ditch-Hammack (aka Dreamer)
Beyond the tragedies of yesterday
New beginnings are to be had
Freedom of the darkness
Open eyed, I face the wind
The past now where it belongs
Tomorrows are free to be
I lived and I have learned
Discovering there is so much more to me
Sometimes it's hard to put behind
The fallacies of so many endeavors
Journeys of so many directions
Leading me to this place
Remembering tomorrow is another day
And today the beginning of tomorrow
The new paths now appear before me
And with it, a new strength becomes the key
