Where Once There Was
11 January, 2022
Author: Shiloh
Where once there was a man...
just a man,
there now was someone who called himself
a writer.
Where once there was a writer,
there now stood a man who would be a writer,
but that was all he was - just a writer.
One day,
after days, months, years, decades
of calling himself a writer,
he decided to say
that he was a poet,
and then, my friend,
there was, truly,
a writer.
