the Good Lord knows
that we all miss you, Lloyd,
and we need you.
You never told us
how to go on without you,
but we'll stumble through
some way, I hope.
Just know that
we all still think about you,
at least once in a while.
A good and true friend
is such that,
should he die,
you wish that it was you
that had done so, instead.
Trying to live my life
as you would want me to, Lloyd -
you set a pretty good example
for all of us.
