Weary Love
14 March, 2022
Author: Senko
How
Do you conquer the fear?
Lower your walls
Embrace the swell of emotions
No
Tamp it down like a wave hitting the shore
Let it roll away
Feel
The initial rush that never quite goes away
Yes
You want to give in
To be pulled under
In sweet bliss
But
Can you breathe underwater?
Or is it safer to stay on land
With the familiar air?
Yet
Still the feeling beckons
Once you let someone into your heart
It does not guarantee that
They will be a polite guest
