The Split Globe
25 August, 2022
Author: TriTran
Planet Earth plowed into half,
Each half gradually drifts apart.
Love a lacerated heart,
Bleeds endless crimson grief.
Vietnam and the USA two galaxies,
Dreaming of merging with scintillating glees.
I stand on my lonely side,
Gaze sadly at my girlfriend longingly;
Each of my pulsation a music note,
Sent to her with succulent affection.
------- Author's Notes -------
My new formal style I created. The Lupina has 10 lines, 3 verses and the middle verse, a rhymed couplet. |
