Windless Summer
20 December, 2024
Author: TriTran
Summertime wind, a poetic glee,
Hissing euphonically like a merry cobra,
Flying south on a short vacation
Until the couple days from now.
Poetry is constantly in motion
While nostalgia glows brightly in this corner of the nation.
People miss the freshness of the air,
Hoping it will return very soon.
The hot windless days and nights long to hear the sound of summer's breath again,
Await patiently its joyful homecoming.
