Are You There
6 September, 2001
Author: Haley
Needing to feel your touch
I don't
Reaching out, Only to grasp the air
Sleepless nights, so many now,
Lost count
A warmth rushes thru my body,
Are you there?
Is that your fingers I thought I just felt,
Stroking through my hair?
Will you come to me each night,
Helping me thru all of this despair?
Do you know how much I miss you?
Mother, are you there?

She died instantly and i didnt see it coming so i guess it was a bit of a shock. I loved her with all my heart and your poem is going to be put over her grave in a letter. It describes how i feel Kay (13) |
