Backdrop Of The Moon
2 September, 2000
Author: Hope
Here I was awakened
As dawn was peeking in
Wishing I could have stayed
In the dream that I was in
Awakened from the night
A dream my heart will store
Again to here you calling me
Whispering me to the shore
Reminiscing through the day
In sunlight biding my time
For soon your voice will call
Your hand touching with mine
Allowing tides to sweep in
Waters edge lapping my feet
Upon soft beds of white sand
Neath moon and stars we meet
Your arms reach around me
Amongst a newly shaped dune
Passionate love to last all night
Neath backdrop of the moon
