A Confused Mind's Plea
3 October, 2002
Author: Ivan Garza
I don't know what to do anymore; I don't know what to think.
But I know you need something else, you need something more than me
I can't explain to you how I feel, you just wont understand
Don't worry; things will be easier once I'm gone from this land
All I did was cause confusion, made things worse than they were
I plead to you for forgiveness before I end this curse
I love you every day and night, every minute and every second
I'll love you from the place I'll be at, and that love will make it heaven
I'll keep an eye on you always; I'll be your angelic guard
I need you to know that before I go, you always were and will be in my heart
But don't be sad, it's not your fault; you gave me what I needed
That little bit of love we shared, it helped me, but no longer can we feed it
At the moment I'm still not sure what will happen in the future
But just in case,
In case I leave, I'll love you from some place better
If I stay, it will be because of you
Because I don't want to hurt you
Then all you have to do is ask, and I will try to forget you
No longer will I cause you pain, and if I really have, I'm sorry
And if you decide to call me back, baby I wont be tardy
