Sundown
21 October, 2002
Author: J.
this blood is on my hands
this love is forever damned
i think about her every day
but i just can't get away
why didn't i ever need to question why?
was everything you gave to me all lies?
touching me again feel so far for just a step away
tempted i give in but you just smile and look away
so what? you're never here i'm not living with fear
you'll never see the sun again but i shed no tears
come sundown everything will be alright
i'm getting far away from here tonite
reality shifting into sick sense
im hell bound, yet she's so heaven sent
we couldn've been one formed by two
that lying smile, poison in every word
infectious, dazed by what i heard
i dug deep and found myself inside you
the gift i gave in me now thrown away
but what is it to you anyway
the gift i gave in me now thrown away
..but what is it to you?
