The Picture
13 February, 2003
Author: Jason Visconti
Now come those who march toward Picasso to dream.
What they dream could be part of the picture.
or something they've lost in their lives they must take away.
Something in the landscape so hard to see its worth finding.
The woman hides behind a bush left only half-drawn.
The stream follows the eye until the eye waters.
The mountain breaks for the ocean where ghosts of ships sail
Forgotten carriers of people like you and I.
