Mother Nature
13 February, 2002
Author: Joseph James Prena
To you she is a piece of grass,
To me is my guardian angel, my garden of life, the giver of life,
She is the ying and the yang
She is the air we breathe,
The liquid we drink, and the food we eat.
To know her is a privilege,
To be by her side is a gift,
Our life is not what it used to be,
Her tranquil presence is almost depleted by our anger,
She is our mother,
I glare at the stars and she guides us to perseverance,
She is the balance of life,
The hot and cold of life.
She is always by your side,
On the rainy days, the sunny days, to the snowy days,
Thou can count on her for wisdom and support.
Though most abuse life while all must embrace it,
Everyday is the same to you
To me, everyday is full of new opportunities and adventure,
Thou might not see it, for I know everything and everyone has a purpose,
>From a single molecule to the stars,
We all have a specific purpose even though we might not see it.
Life is not worth living unless you live it to the fullest.
I know her as life, as Mother Nature.
Thank you for my gifts,
I hope to see you soon at the end of my journey
I dream of you every second.
I dream of you every night.
