A World Of Hurt
28 March, 2003

I know you've had your eyes on,
That far away horizon,
There are things you say you want to do.

You've said you'd like to wander,
But I think you'd better ponder,
The words I’m about to say to you.

There's a world of hurt,
Just outside that door.
You better think it over,
Or I won't be here anymore.

There's no time for second thoughts,
Or don't you know the score?
There’s a world of hurt,
Waiting just outside that door.

A chip is on your shoulder,
The fear of getting older,
You say you'd like to try something new.

I’ve felt what you are feeling,
I know it seems appealing,
But don't forget what I said to you.

There's a world of hurt,
Just outside that door.
You better think it over,
Or I won't be here anymore.

There's no time for second thoughts,
Or don't you know the score?
There’s a world of hurt,
Waiting just outside that door.
