Moon Dancer

Late one frosty morn
a dream to us was surely born
a big black stallion we did seek
to gaze upon him made you feel weak!
Out into the open he did run
with joy to spirit life was fun
until that faithful day of capture
to fill our hearts with joy and rapture
He stepped into our life with fear
his eyes so wide like a frightened deer
with nostrels blowing and hoofs prancing
I saw in him the moon was dancing
Ahh yes the perfect name for him
moon dancer we will be friends
so black and sleek his coat did shine
with some care and love he will be mine
our pride and joy at such a sight
made our hearts and minds take flight
our dream has come to us this day
and in our lives he will forever stay!
A part of history we have bought
ledgends before him conquistadors sought
into battle thay went with heads held high
they carried their masters with spirit and pride
So now we own him our Spanish mustang so true
May he befriend us and fill us with pride and joy
so black his coat it shines almost blue
a cresent moon on his forhead a handsome boy
I stand and watch this proud legend prance
he knows his name is his Moon dance!
