Her Just Reward Revivited

Three weeks later-
His guilt disappeared
and so did her grief.
"I lust you; not love you!"
She sighed with relief.
Like a narcotic,
he was lured by her poems
and aura exotic.
He couldn't leave her alone.
Again in control,
she had found her reward:
Her pen was more mighty
than the resolve of his sword
