The Primrose Path
25 March, 2001
Author: Karen R. Springer
Oh, walk me down that primrose path;
but take me easy. Take me slow.
Should that engender heaven's wrath,
your still the place I want to go:
Away from warm into the heat
down Eden's dark, forbidden street
to taste that apple hard and sweet.
So walk me down that path primrose.
Open wide the garden gate
to where passion like wild flower's grow.
But take me now. I cannot wait.
