The Lesson
25 March, 2002
Author: Karen R. Springer
Caught in a dark wrought iron cocoon.
Cast to the wrath of the dark side
of the moon;
Soul all akimbo she still hasn't figured
is this heaven or limbo
now the gun has been triggered.
Life's taken it's toll
in her unfriendly world.
She has learned she must listen
and be a good girl.
(Yeah, right!)
