Indigo, navy at midnight
the calm is found everywhere
except inside this burning heart

Every night after yesterday is gone
I have seen nightfall
years I have slept through it seems
never missed one twilight

Always it comes back
black to the passion in this heart
longing for something
I cannot find

Night will fall forever on this heart
