That Day
7 June, 2000
Author: Kat
I'm alright, Soon I'll be ok
I don't need you anyway
You don't deserve me
Or what our love could be
You wanted to run
To have your fun
That is fine
I hope you have a good time
When you are through with all your fun
And want to pick up where we had begun
I'll be long gone
Starting on my new life
Maybe I'll even be a new wife
To someone that deserves the love I'm willing to give
A love that is true with nothing to hide
No secrets, no lies
I'll go on while your standing still
Wondering who's shoes you will fill
I'll be someone's first choice
While your second best
To live a loveless life, Without hope, Without dreams
To a life of lies and misery
I'll get the last laugh on that day
When you will say
"I wish from your love I never would of went a stray"
