You Left Me
1 August, 2003
Author: Kathie Mikie
You cut yourself and bled to death.
What the hell did you expect?
Did you think I'd feel sorry for you?
Did you think I could make it through?
Well I never liked you anyways!
Why don't you stay the hell away!
Did you make it to heaven after all?
You saw me at your funeral.
The tears you saw were tears of joy.
My God, you were just a boy.
How could you leave me like that?
Don't you realize what we had?
How can I miss you but at the same time
Hate you for leaving before your time?
It's my fault you stayed, and your fault you left.
I blame you to get it off my chest.
But what if I was the thing that caused you to go?
It's not hard to believe it to be so.
These new emotions for me are strange.
Mixed feelings are hard to arrange.
The only thought that comforts me
Is I know you're happy, wherever you may be.
